This weekend, Restaurang Gamle Port is hosting two parties with Spanish themes, both Friday and Saturday nights. First, hopefully everyone knows about the Erasmus Sangria Party tonight and already has their free tickets. Second, on Gamle Port's website I saw that the very next night is an Ay Caramba Party which will feature a paella buffet and a latin band. If you still have the college party animal in you, I challenge you to go to BOTH of these parties this weekend and live like you are in Spain (just...below freezing outside).

ERASMUS SANGRIA PARTY TONIGHT

Go to www.erasmusgbg.se to get a ticket e-mailed to you, then print the ticket and bring it to the door for free entrance! There are 6 DJ's (four from the Erasmus DJ Team, then Shirre P and DJ Rey) and 3 different dance floors. At 22.00 when doors open, there is a huge buffet and happy hour (happy hour ends at midnight). Drink specials are sangria (for as long as the 80 liters last!) for 35kr, and Erasmus Beer at 3 for 100kr. Then at 3am the winners of the Champagne Lottery will be announced and two lucky students will win!

The queue (or lack thereof?): This time there will be TWO entrance lines, to minimize queue time. You can help by having your ticket and ID ready to show, have your 20kr for the wardrobe also ready, and make sure not to bring any metal in your pockets (Swedish nightclub security).

800 students have already printed their tickets so if you haven't, you should do so! RSVP to the event on Facebook to get updates.

AY CARAMBA PARTY SATURDAY

Ay Caramba is Gothenburg's biggest Latin party, and this Saturday is the "Tropical Edition."  Team Impacto, a Latin band from Norrköping, will play there. Check them out on here. Doors open at 22.oo when the Paella buffet opens, as well as happy hour until midnight. Entrance is 120kr and includes wardrobe. If you go to the event page and write your first and last name on the wall before 23.00, you can get half price entrance for you and a maximum of 2 friends. If you're interested in future Ay Caramba parties, request to join their group.

Remember, both of these parties are at Restaurang Gamle Port on Östra Larmgatan 18 (map). Have fun!!
