After Work

Food selection: Free tapas buffet with purchase of beer.
Reviewer's comment: There was a nice environment, they kept the patio pretty warm in the winter. Everything was good, but nothing special. As soon as the "after work" time ended they kicked us out because every single table was "reserved" for people who actually wanted to order food. We stayed a while longer and nobody came to claim all the "reserved" tables.

Lilla London (Kungsportsavenyn 19) – 2 reviews

Food selection: Afterwork buffé of Swedish meatballs and other rather unhealthy food.
Reviewer's comment: "They have a daily buffé every weekday. Buy a beer for around 30kr and get free food. The beer is cheap up until around 19-20. You would go there a give weekday because mon-thu its one of the few places giving you decent free food if you buy something to drink. It also has a nice Pub feeling around it and not seldom does strangers meet over a beer to have a nice afterwork beer."

Food selection: Buffet.
Reviewer's comment: Food is okay, but it is really cheap and no wardrobe fees. They also offer the afterwork from Monday to Friday. It is only crowded only on Monday in my opinion and it is always the same food.

Food selection: Buffet, a lot of selection.
Reviewer's comment: Arrive early! Afterwork starts at 16h. I suggest to arrive at this time to have a seat. 20sek wardrobe fee when you leave, but the food is amazing. I think it was arround 55sek for a beer/wine + afterwork.

Reviewer's comment: Arrive before 17h to avoid the 20sek wardrobe fee. Lovely place, cheap, good food (bacon, meatloaf, potatoes, soup, salad...).

Food selection: Buffet (tacos).
Reviewer's comment: Beer+afterwork for 59sek (no wardrobe fees). Everything you need for good tacos and more. I also suggest to arrive early (ie no later than 16h30).

Reviewer's comment: Be careful, age limit is 22 even for afterwork. But the food is amazing and not too expensive (20sek wardrobe fee).

Food selection: Italian, a la carte.
Reviewer's comment: The pasta is to die for! I haven't tried the pizza but have heard it's delicious.

Sushi

Reviewed by Nils (Misi.se) on: 2011 March 31

Overall score: 5

Food selection: Japanese, sushi, sashimi and yakitori.
Reviewer's comment: A good friend of mine, and Japanese exchange student, showed me this sushi restaurant about one year ago, and since then I've returned many, many times. The sushi is the best I've had in Sweden, the miso soup is simply delicious and the staff is very friendly. For a wonderful sushi experience in Gothenburg, this is the place to go!

Cafés

Cafe con leche (Plantagegatan 15)
Reviewed by Sera (Misi.se) on: 2011 March 31

Food: 5
Atmosphere: 5

Food selection: Fika.
Reviewer's comment: Cafe con leche is one of the few cafes that has a spanish theme. You can get some spanish-style snacks but also very delicious self-made Swedish pajs and kanelbulle. Sit outside and enjoy the sun (in summertime...)

Nöller Espressobar (Haga Nygata 28)
Reviewed by Gina (Misi.se) on: 2011 March 31

Overall score: 3

Food selection: I just had coffee.
Reviewer's comment: The seats look cool and everything, but it was not very comfortable. They had wifi and I could sit and work unbothered. The music was so good that I had to turn my own music off so I could listen to theirs instead.
