Hagabion- more than a cinema

One after another the small cinemas in Göteborg are closing down. Did you for example know that two big stores, Lagerhouse on Avenyn and Weekday on Kungsgatan used to be cinemas? Nowadays there are only two alternative cinemas left in Göteborg, competing with with the big SF company which nearly has a cinema monopol in Sweden. If you are looking for the perfect place to take your date, or just to hang out during colds autumn nights in Göteborg, Hagabion is the place to be! This alternative cinema/café/restaurant/bar is my new favourite place because of the cool decoration, the delicious vegetarian food, the low prices and the different movies.

In Hagabion you find alternative international films, and the ticket prices are the lowest in Göteborg. What about French movies every Wednesday night, the Manhattan film festival or Swedish short films for free? You can even have a dinner before the film without becoming totally broke. The menu offers many suprises- like the vegetarian salmon- and the food is absolutly delicious!... If you just want to have a glass of wine that won't leave you disappointed either, since the prices are low, the wine good and the bar very cool! Hagabion is a cinema where you don't even need to see a movie to have a perfect night!
