On December 13th we celebrate Lucia Day in Sweden. It is one of the most popular celebrations and especially known for its songs. As appreciated as the music is also the pastry for this celebration – Lussebullar, also called Lussekatter. It is a delicious pastery with saffron. If you want to find out more about Lucia Day, we have prepared a few articles for you:

Get to know what the Lucia celebration is all about in a great article by Nils.

Read about how Nina experienced Lucia Day.

On Lucia Day you should eat Lussebullar (or also called Lussekatter), of course. Check out the results of the Misi Test Panel. They tested 5 different Lussebullar from well-known places in Gothenburg.

If you would like to make Lussebullar on your own, follow our recipe. They are really delicious.

The Misi Team wishes you a great Lucia Day!
